Organic pollutants become major threats for marine environment being very persistence in nature that is reason collectively known as Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP) These are included Poly Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH), Phthalates, Alkyl phenols, Steroidal compounds, Pesticides and Poly Chlorinated Biphenyls(PCBs) etc. This study has been done on fish and shellfish included oyster (C.ariakensis), white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei), and Blue crab (Callinectes Sapidus) as well as Clam (Merccnaria) species were collected from Chesapeake Bay near Virginia Beach in the southeast part of the state on the Atlantic coastline those are the most common marine products from Virginia. The validated and verified methods were applied for extraction and cleanup procedures while all analysis was carried out with Matrix Solid Phase Dispersion (MSPD) and identification along with quantification was performed by GC/MS.
