Performance evaluation of a mechanical palm fruit harvester

Palm oil productivity is on a steady decline; one major reason is the tedious and risk attached harvesting methods. Hence the need to develop an alternative method that would enhance and improve palm fruit harvesting. This study looked into developing and evaluating the performance of a mechanical palm fruit harvester. It further compared the developed harvester with two other crude palm fruit harvesting methods.
