Pentrale Venator

Deandra Aanjay's name is feared throughout the world. Her name literally means unconquerable warrior. Lamia (vampires) and Lupus (werewolves) think of her as this powerful Venator (hunter) who they see as a boogeyman. They think she is older, taller, can kill supernatural beings with just a look of her eyes, and most avoid all hunters because of her name. The truth is far from the rumors. Dee is a Pentrale Venator, a hunter in a long line of hunters that keep the world from knowing that the supernatural exists, but she has a gift that is very rare...she can tell when people lie to her. She is still in high school, argues with her mom, and secretly thinks that her family needs to create peace with the supernatural to keep from the humans finding out, especially since technology is making it too hard to monitor the world.
Top that with the Lupus (werewolves) moving south and fighting continuously for no apparent reason, Lamia coming to her house to request a peace treaty, her mom freaking out, and going on so many missions she's about two months behind on her homework. What was school again? Dee wouldn't know because she rarely made it to class because the supernatural world was on the edge of panic and discovery.
When she is finally told what is going on, can she create a team filled with enemies? Will she be able to trust her team? Will they make it back alive? Or will she survive to even make it to the plane? All Dee wants is to finish school, have a better relationship with her mother, and have answers to all her questions...but someone has to initiate the change her family needs for them all to survive.
