Pathologies of the aorta

Over the last two decades, new imaging techniques have provided a better understanding of aortic pathologies, which are largely dominated by atheroma and its complications. Thanks to them, therapeutics have become more efficient and above all more appropriate. Whether it is a question of dissections, penetrating ulcers, aneurysms or embolic migration of aortic plaques, cross-sectional imaging makes the topographical diagnosis, the assessment of extension and of associated lesions, in particular parenchymal damage. The aim of this book is to report some cases operated for aortic pathologies.
