It offers suggestions for his study time and sermon preparation, as well as conducting various services such as weddings and funerals, baptisms and The Lord's Supper. It covers missions, church organization, business meetings, and other areas of pastoral responsibility and leadership. The author is a veteran pastor with over fifty years of experience in serving churches, associations and seminaries. He has taught pastoral care classes, and is a writer.
