This textbook is devoted to the description of 100 Russian verbs in terms of their word formation, lexical compatibility, word formation and functioning.
These verbs, which are the most frequently used and belong to the lexical minimum of levels A1-B1, are presented for foreign students in full in terms of sufficiency of linguistic knowledge about them and
necessity for the formation of communicative competences.

With few exceptions, the textbook does not include the verbs of motion, as they are characterized by grammatical, semantic and word-formation peculiarities and require a special presentation.
The verbs are presented in alphabetical order and a list of verbs is given at the end. A table of noun and adjective noun endings is included for your self-check.

This reference material is necessary to prepare foreign students for the certification test for the first certification level of general proficiency in Russian as a foreign language.
