Parent Survey on Student Absenteeism

This book presents a comprehensive analysis of student absenteeism in rural higher education, based on an in-depth parent survey conducted at K. H. College, Gargoti, Maharashtra (India). The study examines how socioeconomic obligations, transportation limitations, job, social issues, presence of non-grantable college and shifting student priorities affect classroom attendance against the larger context of India's changing higher education system and post-COVID academic challenges.
