Painted over White

I experienced a recurring dream for 34 years. The dream plagued, taunted or cursed me. At least that is how I felt about it until the day that the dream became a reality and stopped me from committing a murder. On that particular day I walked the walk, saw the sights, smelled the odors, heard the sounds, understood the feelings, and learned the dark secret. My curse became my gift and my greatest comfort.
