Our World and Its Values

What are values? What principles underlie them? How ought we to apply them to our relations with our environment, other people in our communities, and international relations? What is the state and how should it treat its citizens--with justice and fairness. Can we have a morality without religion? Can we divest ourselves of the corrupting influence of money on human relations and the environment? Can we live honestly, without assuming simulacra?
