Orphan Ollie Opts Out

"Orphan Ollie Opts Out" chronicles the life of a 16-year-old orphan who decides not to enter Georgia's Homes for Orphans Program but to "escape" to St. Augustine, Florida to make it on his own.

Ollie, with tears streaming down his face, replied:

"I keep wondering, if only she would have caught the bus as usual. I don't know, Mr. M, first my Mom and now Rosie. I'm not sure I am going to make it this time."
