Albert is an 85 year old war veteran from the first world war who still struggles with the horrifying memories of his time in the trenches. Jason is his 15 year old grandson who is tormented by bullies in school, together they help each other combat their demons. Albert by sharing his experiences during the war and Jason by understanding that if his grandfather can live through such difficult times at such a tender age then he can surely face his own difficulties.
