This novel tells the story of Dr. Anil Gupta, a young doctor who left India and came to the United States for advanced training. He promised his parents and girlfriend in India that he would return to India soon. However, he became mesmerized by the glory in the United States and decided to stay in the United States. Eventually he married a woman in the United States and was blessed with a daughter. What happens when Anils daughter decides to marry his ex-girlfriends son?
