On-The-Job Training in Security Cadres

The text describes a field study undertaken by the author, who sought to determine what, if any, training needs might exist for the Riyadh City (Saudi Arabia) Police Department. The study explores the many varieties of professional training that are available, the current training efforts of the Police Department, and offers recommendations for improving the training with the intention of increasing the professionalism of law enforcement officers.
