On Formation of Structure by Separate and Cooperative Growth of Grains

The monograph discusses issues related to the problem of migration of grain boundaries in single-phase and two-phase structures. Particular attention is paid to the kinetics and laws of growth of isomeric and lamellar grains, including the features of the movement of their boundaries in the presence of stationary and mobile particles of excess phases. Issues related to the formation of grains during sintering when using different powders (with the preservation of solid-state boundary inclusions or pores), as well as with additive surfacing technology, are also considered. The material of the monograph is intended for masters, graduate students and research engineers in factory laboratories.
