Im a firm believer that to write about the truth sometimes you have to write outside the box. When you follow all the rules in writing and do the same thing that everyone else does, sometimes the real truth takes a slight turn toward the not so realistic but more toward the right way to author a book. Since my book is about actual calls that I responded to as they occurred and so as to keep them as factual as possible, I do use some of the actual language, graphic and raw as it was, in trying to describe the scene as I remember. I do not wish to offend anyone but I feel that to do anything else would be an injustice to my readers. I want realism in my accounts of the calls depicted here in as a first responder. Wont you come along and see?
