Olivia's Adventures

The "Olivia's Adventures" books are the real-life adventures of the author's dog. In her first book, she sets out to explore the trails in the Shenandoah National Park with her Mom and Dad. Along the way, she learns, by accident, that she can swim and encounters her first turtle. The series is written from Olivia's point of view with her talking to the readers so they can understand what she must be thinking. Cheryl Combs grew up in Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M with a BBA in Accounting. She is self employed as a virtual assistant and bookkeeper. Cheryl and her husband, Steve, and son, John, live in Virginia with their dog, Olivia. They love domestic and international travel, volunteering, and hiking. Cheryl has currently visited all 50 states and 14 countries. She has always wanted to write childrens' books and Olivia's antics have inspired her to write this series.
