American heiress Liza Ramsay, recent beneficiary of the thirteenth century Ramsay Castle in the Scottish Lowlands, is looking forward to a quiet winter as she plans a summer wedding to Lachlan McClaren, former groundskeeper and falsely accused murder suspect. Just as their lives are settling down from the traumatic killing spree at the castle, the pair receives a strange request from a renowned Scottish magnate to host a three-day retreat-a billionaires' club, of sorts-for some of the richest and most powerful geopolitical players that all have agendas for mischievousness, mayhem, and malice.
