OASE 122: Ecological Pedagogies

Interrogating how the study of architecture can shift from the theoretical to the practical, especially in response to in-the-moment and all-too-frequent climate challenges

Conventional architecture education teaches largely through abstractions; students develop their skills within imaginary scenarios. But from an ecological perspective, an isolated position like this is no longer tenable. OASE 122 examines both the content of education and the appropriate settings and methods to embed it in the ecological zeitgeist.
