O Medievalismo No Século XXI

O Medievalismo no seculo XXI aims at contributing to the ongoing reflection on the place and relevance of medieval studies today. It is organized in two parts. Part I is composed of a set of articles that study medieval texts in a way that is innovative or that differs from the mainstream. Part II is more polyhedral and is characterized by summoning mediated and multi-/ interdisciplinary perspectives. The global idea that embraces the whole book is the wish to oppose established mind sets, and the search for new perspectives on old themes even though some of them have already been worked on a lot, which shows us that it is always possible to innovate, even on walked paths.
