I have been knowing Professor Chen Weishun for years. Though living in different areas, we met with each other for several times every year due to academic cooperation. For a long time after accumulation of time, I got to know his humble, honest and knowledgeable character; he was proficient in several languages and good at classical poetry; he focused on Chinese academic learning with great efforts and created so many works, making us, the young generation, too far behind to catch up with.
