An artist struggling to rebuild a derailed career, Cassie attempts to solve a puzzle of missing pieces: a stolen necklace, a teen who vanished years ago, and the dangly private parts taken from a scandalous sculpture of a human torso. Visits from the ghost of her dead friend Vicky only complicate the situation. Her sisters, busy with their own dramas, are little to no help.

Her best source of assistance is Dale, a young neighbor who attended high school with the victim. He knows Wolf Haunt, a place with a notorious reputation-and several social media sites. But it's not easy for Dale to spill what he knows. He has his own secrets to keep and three dates for the dance.
