Normal Cytology

In the practice of cytopathology, cytologists frequently encounter a spectrum of benign, normal cells in samples. Sometimes, unexpected normalelements may be found within cytology specimens because a FNA procedure has contamination or inadvertently sampled a nearby organ or normal anatomical structure.
