Norbury Park

This is a delightful, interesting book that details how Norbury Park estate has implemented numerous strategies to become 8,000 tonnes carbon negative per year. It explains the advantages of planting mixed species of trees together and how arable land can be utilised to maximise carbon storage. The estate is home to the UK's only Free Air Carbon Dioxide Enrichment experiment that investigates how future levels of carbon dioxide will affect trees and their environment. Anybody who reads it will be inspired by the vision it expresses, and the systematic, adaptive and disciplined approach to taken to pursue  that vision.
