Smith is currently a high school student in Canada. This is her first poetry book. Smith wrote, edited, designed, and published this book independently as an ode to her adolescent years. This book includes poetry regarding self-harm, eating disorders, rape and loss. This complex read may leave you feeling empty or could cause some pain or possibly reopened wounds. The goal of this book was to have even the darkest parts of herself revealed as transparent to the reader.
