Nightscapes

Nightscapes, the author's sixth story-collection, again shows the great range of his imagination. Here is an avowedly Gothic tale ("A Servant of Satan") which begins with necromancy in 19th century Paris, but soars in the company of soulless immortals to the very ends of time and space.
