Nicholas and the Keeper of Names

Nicholas is young. He is fearless. He is destined to become the next Keeper of Names.

An honored position that has been filled by generations of his ancestors, the Keeper of Names is responsible for upholding peace between humans and elves. Part human, part elf himself and groomed from birth to fulfill his role, Nicholas is confident he will continue the family tradition of maintaining peace and prosperity within his city.

Until, in one fell swoop, his world changes. The covenant between man and elf is destroyed when a deadly plague sweeps through the town. Chaos turns friend against friend, and in one night Nicholas loses nearly everyone he loves and flees for his life.

Now homeless and destitute, Nicholas can hide... or he can fight.
