Never Underestimate the Spirit

Never Underestimate the Spirit evolved from a series of weekly memos I sent to my employees, encouraging personal and professional learning and growth. Although I began writing to encourage, motivate, and inspire them, in time it was they who provided a never-ending pool of inspiration to me. To quote Albert Schweitzer: "e;At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us."e; When we share our stories we are sharing our spirits. A story is a mysterious thing. Often that which seems less significant to the writer is something that is treasured most by the reader. This should serve as a lesson for us all. Share your spirit with others. You never know when your words may rekindle the flame for someone who needs their spirit restored.
