Neurostructural and Neuropsychological Implications of Diabetes

The general objective of the present text is to describe the alterations at the neurostructural, neurofunctional and neuropsychological levels in children with a history of maternal diabetes (gestational or pregestational), children and adults with type 1 diabetes, and adolescents, adults and older adults with type 2 diabetes. In addition, it seeks to address the relationship that has been found between diabetes and different types of dementia.
