There is no doubt that narrative is the common denominator between nations, peoples, and cultures. Just as every group has its own narratives, every culture has its own narratives, whether small or large, just as every civilization has its own creativity in narrative, which can develop into acting, epics, audio, visual, and plastic arts. The purpose of this book is to present a comprehensive vision of the Arabic narrative as a linguistic, deictic, and informational structure, shaped into multiple aesthetic structures, which we find in historical narratives, lyrical and epic poetry, in short and long stories, in popular biographies and in tales of assemblies, just as we find them in novels, plays, and stories. Short stories, stories, news, life stories, and other new or inherited forms of storytelling. The author''s effort was based on discussing theoretical issues directly or indirectly related to the ancient Arabic narrative, such as oral and written, normative and non-normative, poetic and prose. The book also sought to bring to mind the cultural, civilizational and philosophical dimensions, so that the final image is comprehensive in time and place, extending from the era. Pre-Islamic studies to before the modern era look - as much as possible - at the opinions of the ancients and the efforts of modern researchers.
