My Side of the Story

Elena Flores and Jo Reilly grew up in totally different worlds, but when they discover that they're half-sisters roughly the same age, their worlds collide. After a traumatic incident in her hometown of Miami, Elena moves to the wealthy suburbs of Long Island to live with the father she's never met, turning Jo's life upside down. While dealing with the trials and tribulations of high school, they must learn to navigate their new life together by letting go of their resentment and preconceived notions about the world, their father, and each other.
