My Name Is John

The Lord has shown him love and mercy throughout his life. It helped him to deal with physical and emotional pain and a difficult recovery from respiratory failure. He deals with his dependency on his electric scooter to move around like a brave soldier. His CMT (Charcot-Marie-Tooth-Syndrome), a form of muscular dystrophy, has reached the end stage and left him permanently disabled. His wife, son, parents, and siblings are his support system and his prayer life has grown healthy and strong. My Name Is John speaks of a courageous man who does not give up or feel sorry for himself. He knows that Jesus will give him a new body in heaven and will dry all his tears. With a smile, he tells people, "e;Hope is the oxygen of the soul."e;
