Author Candy J. Beard came from a broken home and that was just the beginning. Her life was certainly no storybook fairytale. She has had to overcome numerous obstacles to get where she is today...a published author and a produced screenwriter.In this true account of her life, from birth to age forty-one, she holds nothing back. Instead she shares it all...the good, the bad and the ugly. "Trust me, every word is true I couldn't make this up if I tried," Candy says of her life story. Her purpose is to show others that if she can overcome the life she endured, anyone can overcome the obstacles in their lives too. She hopes she will be an inspiration to others.
