Muslim inheritance law, positive law in Chad

Implementing Muslim law according to the Malickite doctrine and non-Muslim customary rules, positive Chadian law has established an inheritance system that blends well or badly with the overseas civil code promulgated in 1958 in the nascent republic within the community and maintained after independence. In three parts, the author attempts to empty inheritance law of its substance, as stated by Dean DJIKOLOUM BENAN Benjamin, author of the preface: the status of heirs, their order and the liquidation of the estate form the backbone of this work, intended by its author as a tool for teachers and practitioners.
