From this point of view, it is also a clear book that best depicted all the musical instruments of those ancient times, regardless of their types, and described them in the most accurate description, and revealed the character and status of music, and the sciences and arts that were related to it.The author presented his book with a general introduction to musical history, presenting aspects of research in this science. Then he appended it with a comprehensive summary of the most important research contents of his book and an alphabetical guide to all the musical symbols or instruments it included. He also stated synonyms for the names of those instruments in German and English, and followed all of that with general questions as a reminder of what the book included.
