Motor Development of Deaf Children

The development of gross and fine motor skills in children with hearing impairments is one of the concerns of health and education systems that can lead to long-term problems in teaching and learning of these children. Motor rehabilitation of the deaf, in addition to early detection hearing, the use of auditory residues and stimulation of the auditory system is primarily important. This book first reviews hearing loss and its rehabilitation and then deals with motor development in deaf children based on studies over the past three decades.
