Mother Blue and The Deep Down Under

Northwest of Nederland, Colorado, Caribou Ranch Open Space has been home to summer hunting grounds, a silver mine,
a Hollywood movie set, a recording studio, a railroad, and more. As an artist-in-residence at this remarkable place, Ellen Orleans hiked trails, watched wildlife, and sat by North Boulder creek, conjuring up the characters who now live inside the short stories of Mother Blue and the Deep Down Under.
