Rhetoric, which scholars are at a loss to define due to the many things they have mixed up, is no more than two words: the power of perception, and the power to control the ratio between imagination and reality. They are two qualities of the forces of creation that correspond to creativity and order in nature, and with them, individual poets and writers began to create historical nations, and perhaps a word from one of them gives birth to the history of a generation...The eloquent people are the souls of religions, laws, and customs, and they are the tongues of heaven and earth.
