Monkey Bars

Every child wants to go to school and feel safe. As educators we are always looking for ways to teach our students strategies they can use if they are confronted by another student who is being mean or acting like a bully toward them. "Monkey Bars" uses alpacas as the characters to teach your students how to stand up to mean students and students who act like a bully by "attacking the problem, not the person". Your students will love Mr. Chockablock, the teacher, Mr. Chico, the school principal, and Mrs. Coco the school counselor. They all assure their students that they will be safe at school and if someone is acting mean or like a bully, they will have the tools to stand up to them. At the end of the book are some fun facts about alpacas, as well as, the real-life pictures of the alpaca characters.
