"Mommy, is my hair nice?" That's what Kaliah asked her mom one day after dinner. Kaliah and Asara migrated from Jamaica to Canada four years ago with their parents.

The girls attend the local elementary school and love to share stories of their daily encounters with their parents. Most situations are fun, and problems are usually easy fixes for Mom and Dad, but others not so much.
