This book is characterized by being a practical book that is concerned with actual application more than it is concerned with elaborating on the explanation and analysis of theories. Its author sought moderation in approaching modern trends, and did not ignore the practical conditions existing in most schools, as many extremist innovators ignore.The author also took care to apply his theories to various study subjects. He does not leave any of them without indicating how to treat them according to modern methods. He dealt with language lessons in its various branches, such as dictation, composition, archives, etc., and lessons in arithmetic, history, geography, civic education, and other academic subjects, and gave realistic examples in all of these subjects. Of course, he extracts it from the American environment, but the translators deliberately replaced many of it with examples that we extracted from our local environment.
