This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Modelling and Development of Intelligent Systems, MDIS 2022, held in Sibiu, Romania, during October 28-30, 2022.The 21 papers included in this book were carefully reviewed and selected from 48 submissions.
