Mitol gicas de Viaje is a passionate description of heartbreak; a metaphorical portrait of machista power and its cowardly objectification of "love"; contradictorily providing for the redemption of the androgynous victim and the victory over her soul oppressor. Lira shows how the pain caused by an unfaithful lover who only searches for momentary sexual satisfaction will paradoxically, at the end, inseminate the poetess with inspiration and female Gnostic empowerment equivalent to a wise androgynous priestess.
