Mistaken Identity: An Eldertale Spiritual Journey In The Second Half of Life

When Wolf Mark suffers a stroke, he's taken to the hospital where, just two hours before, Mark Wolf, who had Stage 4 Alzheimer's, has died. The two men's records are mistakenly switched, and for several terrifying weeks, Wolf experiences life as an Alzheimer's patient-invisible and forgotten. However, while Wolf has locked-in syndrome and is paralyzed, only able to move his eyes, he is very much aware and in full control of his mental powers.

As he's reunited with his family and must learn to accept his own new limitations, Wolf pens a fantastical and allegorical fairy tale from his perspective as an individual with locked-in syndrome.
