"Oh, you're in Estonia, how long are you here for?" is a common question when I see an old acquaintance or friend. "You don't get tired, do you!?" is the response. I don't get tired. I need it. I need these people from other cultures and of other colours around me.

I love to eat curry on the beach in Bali and then fly to the next Indonesian island. That's how I've ended up at a festival in Timor where there are no other tourists. Ordered a cooking class from the villagers and surprised to find a cooking pig still running around. Attended a funeral ceremony in Sumba to bury a missing person and sang karaoke with the vicars. I've even spent honeymoons in Lembongan.

The latter means that I finally managed to meet a local woman and learn the intricacies of being a bridesmaid, or gifting buffaloes and horses. This is no joke.
