Mining on a Small and Medium Scale

Interest in small scale mining has been heightened in recent years due to the increasing concern on its environmental impacts. This book aims to delve into the many dimensions of small and medium scale mining and to take stock of the emerging issues. By and large, the contributions relate to issues such as management vis-a-vis small scale mining focusing on environmental, health and safety, social and gender issues.
