Milwen is a young girl growing up in Neolithic England. The story begins with the devastating passing of her mother and the realisation that she will have to take on the raising of her family and the running of the house hold. The story continues and follows her relationships, rituals and the daily tasks that make up her life as part of Neolithic society.
