The author of The Ingredients of Love takes us to an old houseboat in the city of love, in this brilliant romantic comedy filled with magical moments.
On a cloudy autumn day, Jos phine leaves her small attic on the Saint-Martin channel, in Paris, and finds two letters in the mailbox. One is from the publishing house where she works as a translator and the other from an unknown notary. And it is so that, in the span of a few minutes, Jos phine discovers she has lost her job, but she has also inherited a house, although atypical and a bit dilapidated: her dear uncle Albert has left her his old houseboat, moored at the port on Pont de la Concord.
Reluctant, and despite having good memories cruising the Seine with her excentric uncle, Jos phine decides to sell it. But on the boat, not only does she find a mysterious locked wardrobe with no key, but an attractive and grouchy stranger who claims to be a legitimate tenant. And of course, he sees no reason to move out...
