Migration and Exile

The essays gathered in this volume call into question the validity of rigid boundaries between North-American and South-American studies. The interdisciplinary character of the articles is intended to allow for a more comprehensive understanding of the cultural interactions between Europe, North America and South America. It is also more apt to convey a nuanced image of the ways in which different cultures, literatures and languages interact and intersect in representing the complex issues of exile and migration.
