Mighty Micah the Marathoner

In many ways, Micah is a typical second grader who likes to do typical second-grade stuff. He loves to play, go to school, and of course, spend time with his friends. However, Micah connects with the world a little differently than other second graders. His connection happens from his wheelchair, and his voice is amplified through technology. Micah and his dad run marathons together with the help of Orange Crush, a special wheelchair, and the other members of Team Micah's Miles. Through running marathons and visits to schools, Micah and his family raise awareness about disabilities and raise money for several partner charities. This picture book includes a lesson plan for teachers on Perseverance, Hard Work, and Teamwork.
