Methodology for Fire and Torrential Hazards Assessment

This book presents a description and applied methodology for the determination of fire and torrential flood hazards for rural watersheds in Colombia. The methodology is adjusted to the general regulations according to Colombian legislation, based on the risk management law of 2012.The methodology is based on the development of a case study of a rural watershed located in the foothills of the Colombian eastern plains, and could be taken as a guide to be followed in this type of studies that are part of environmental management plans of regional autonomous corporations or land management entities.
